🚲 Charlotte Bike Life: 7 Nights a Week of Social Rides & Good Vibes

Charlotte has a bike ride for you—every. single. day. of. the. week.

If you’re tired of waiting for the last Friday of the month to roll with the crew, we’re here to say: don’t wait. Charlotte’s casual bike scene is rolling deep, and there’s something going down every night.

Whether you’re rocking jorts, hoodies, costumes, or Crocs, there’s a ride out there for you. This isn’t for road racers or KOM chasers. This is for the chill riders, the party pacers, the beer-by-bike believers, and anyone else who just wants to ride and vibe.

Here’s your 7-day Charlotte Social Bike Ride Guide—plus some creative ride ideas to grow the scene even bigger.

🟢 Monday – NoDa Social Ride (Divine Barrel)

Start the week soft and social. Meet up at Divine Barrel Brewing in NoDa around 6:30 PM, pedals down at 7. Casual pace, neighborhood cruising, occasional bar stops, and guaranteed good people.

Best for: Making new bike friends, catching golden hour, and shaking off the Monday blahs.
What to bring: Lights, a smile, maybe a koozie.

🔵 Tuesday – PMTNR & Crank Critters

8 PM – PMTNR (Plaza Midwood Tuesday Night Ride)

The OG social ride. 15–20 miles of easy cruising with lots of stops. Starts at Common Market. Always welcoming, always weird. This is the glue of the Charlotte bike week.

7 PM – Crank Critters

A smaller, wilder offshoot that usually peels off early. Expect quirky routes, park detours, urban discovery, and some mildly sketchy hill bombs. Bring your sense of adventure.

Best for: Exploring Charlotte in ways your car never could.
What to bring: Charged lights, maybe a costume, maybe a speaker.

🟡 Wednesday – Spoke Easy Ride (?)

Still confirming details, but Spoke Easy sometimes hosts a chill midweek spin. Call or check their IG.

Suggestion: If it’s not running, start your own “Work Sucks Wednesday” ride. Post up outside Spoke or Tip Top, roll to a park, grab a cone at Two Scoops, cruise back. Midweek magic.

🟣 Thursday – NoDa Social Redux (Local Loaf)

Another NoDa Social ride, this time from Local Loaf. Same fun crew, different starting point. If you missed Monday, catch Thursday.

Best for: Wind-down rides, easy pace, riding into the weekend like a legend.

🔴 Friday – The Party Ride™

This one’s loose. There’s no single group, but there’s always a ride. Sometimes it starts at a brewery, sometimes it’s just a speaker and a handful of riders linking up in Plaza or NoDa.

Suggestion: Organize a “Fixie Friday” or “Glow Ride” with lights and music. Charlotte needs it.

Best for: Getting weird, spinning off the week’s stress, starting your weekend the right way.

🟠 Saturday – Long NoDa Social Ride

Same crew, but goin’ long. Think greenways, breweries, 20+ miles at a cruise pace. Pack snacks. Don’t plan anything early Sunday.

Best for: Urban exploring, food truck hopping, brewery patios, making memories.

🟤 Sunday – Pump Track Posers + Bike Polo

9 AM – Pump Track Posers @ Fred Alexander Park

Start your Sunday with some flow. Bring any bike, learn the rollers, catch air or just cruise. Everyone’s welcome. Music, mentorship, and momentum.

4:20 PM – Charlotte Bike Polo (Cordelia Park)

Yes, you read that right. Mallets, balls, and bikes. Wild to watch, even wilder to try. They’ve got loaner mallets and are always down to teach.

Suggestion: Make Sunday a “Bike Everything” day. Ride to brunch, hit the pump track, loop the greenway, end with polo—or just a park hang.

🚴‍♀️ Bonus Ride Ideas: Grow the Scene

If you’re reading this, you are the scene. Here’s how to help it grow:

  • Fixie Friday: Meet at dusk, ride fast (or slow), look cool.
  • Sunset Speaker Ride: One speaker. One group. One golden hour.
  • Midnight Snack Attack: Ride to 3 food spots after dark.
  • Coffee Outside (Sundays or Fridays): Brew up on a camp stove at a park. BYO beans & vibes.
  • Bike & Sketch: Cruise to a scenic spot and draw something. Doesn’t matter what.
