The Hugo’s did a great job of compiling and shooting this Robby Gordon 2020 Baja 1000 recap video. Having been in the helicopter, they did a very nice job of blending the ground shots with the aerial footage I shot on the Sony AX53.
There are more expensive cameras, but the inboard stabilization is pretty decent along with the zoom. We can also live with the color. If you have 20 minutes to spare, give the video a watch. We generally prefer no background music in our edits, as it cuts out copyright claims, is deeply personal for some, most watches with the sound off on phone, and we get more views (see Stadium Super Trucks). The Hugo’s used it sparingly. There is a pretty groovy part in the middle someplace.
It’s a good behind the scenes video of one of the toughest off-road races in the world.
The TOG should probably fix the thumbnail tho…
